AIR
DRY COATINGS
 Overview:
We undertake air dry coatings of items up to 2.5m
x 1.5m x 1.5m using a range of coatings suppliers.
A range of commonly requested coatings are detailed
below.
Synthetic
Finishes:
Synthetic finishes include rapid dry paint, quick
dry paint and regular coatings suited to exterior
use. These coatings are also ideal for components
that might require touching up and are available
in full gloss,semi -gloss, eggshell and matt finish.
Gloss
Finish:
This high quality paint is based on polyurethane
to provide both superb gloss and excellent durability.
It may be force dried to further improve production
throughput. Recommended for use on Agricultural
Implements, Construction Plant and Industrial Machinery
because of its good resistance to diesel, oil and
petrol. Available in a wide range of colours suitable
for external use.
Acrylic
Modified Fast Dry Synthetic Finish:
An acrylic modified, alkyd based finish combining
very fast drying with good adhesion, gloss and
exterior durability. When fully oxidised, the paint
film has good resistance to petrol, paraffin and
mineral oils. It is ideally suited to spray application,
with excellent recoatability characteristics.
Acrylic
Finish:
This one pack finish is used widely in the machine
tool industry as it provides outstanding resistance
to the majority of coolants and cutting fluids.
When reacted with
isocyanate hardener offers improved hardness
and chemical resistance.
Cellulose
Finish: Cellulose finish is very
quick drying ideal for our fast moving
production
lines. Typically used on a variety of articles
where an interior commercial finish is required.

Two
Pack Epoxy Finish:
This durable finish has outstanding chemical resistance
and hardness. It has good adhesion over a wide
range of substrates when used with recommended
primers. Suitable for use as either an air drying or stoving
system, it is extensively used on plant and equipment
exposed to severe environmental conditions
